Check the Mounting Style Before You Order
The MAC19 bottom tank uses a horizontal mounting clevis pin arrangement. If your truck uses a diagonal clevis pin arrangement, you need the MAC18 instead. Compare both against your old radiator before ordering. If your truck needs a framed unit, ask about the MAC19F. Send us your truck’s year and model and we’ll confirm the match. Looking at an older Mack? See the MAC15 for MR600 Series trucks (1999–2007).
Pair It With the Right Charge Air Cooler
Replacing the radiator? Check the charge air cooler too. The related charge air coolers for this application are the CAC384 and CAC385. A clogged or leaking cooler adds heat load on the engine, so it’s worth inspecting both at the same time.
Built for Heavy Mack Workloads
Mack trucks in vocational and regional service work hard through heat, dust and stop-and-go duty, and a weak radiator is a common cause of overheating. Our guide to common heavy-duty truck radiator problems and fixes covers the warning signs to watch for.
Replace or Repair Your Mack Radiator?
If the damage is limited to a tank or part of the core, repair may cost less than a new unit. See our repair vs. replacement cost guide, or ask about our heavy-duty truck radiator repair and rebuilding and radiator re-coring services. If the radiator is beyond repair, the MAC19 is ready to order.
